Subject: Kent & Essex IFCA - Native Oyster Permit Byelaw Consultation
Dear Miss O’Shea
The Harbour Master has asked me to write and thank you for your email dated 20th September 2017 inviting the Authority to comment on the Native Oyster Permit Byelaw Consultation.
The information you provided was circulated to both the Crouch Harbour Authority members and those of the Advisory Committee. As the proposals were outside the area of their expertise it was felt that they were unable to comment.
The Harbour Master is in the process of trying to contact Kent & Essex IFCA to seek clearer clarity of what is involved and how the proposals will affect its stakeholders.
We look forward to receiving further information following on from the meeting scheduled at the end of October 2017.
